Juan Andrés Román Etxebarría (Galdakao, 1965)
Lover of mycology since he can remember, as achild he participated in numerous mycological competitions, second in the Biscay mushroom competition-exhibition of 1991 and champion the next three years, and champion in the competition of Medina de Pomar in 1992. Since then, is dedicated solely to expose and classify species for other groups. In fungipedia.es is responsible for the classification of species, proofreading, moderator of the forum, and above all, is the author of almost all the photographs that appear on our website.
Francisco Javier Calvo Pérez (Galdakao, 1966) 
He was born the same year that was celebrated the first mycological exhibition on his town, born in a family that has traditionally collected mushrooms, and his fondness for them is lost in the mists of time. Joined forces with Juan Andrés Román in 1991 with the competition mentioned above as well as championships in the years 1992, 1993 and 1994. Today is dedicated to exposing and also classify for various groups. In fungipedia.es, is the author of all technical and descriptive texts of the species, previously classified with Juan.
Aitor Calvo Pérez (Galdakao, 1976)
Webmaster of fungipedia.es, or what is the same, the architect responsible to assembling all the parts (both photographs and records) created by the two "monsters" of mycology, "monsters" who gradually had to domesticated to not see the computer as something magical. Joking aside, Aitor is walking trough the computing world for 15 years and has developed numerous websites along all this time making any of them had more than 15,000 visits daily. Currently is working on his own hosting company and web design Execute Systems S.L.
